DYNAMIC DECK-BUILDING
You select the path on the map, and choose the deck of 15 cards for the fight. Unused cards stay in your library. You can preview the upcoming enemies and optimize your deck accordingly.
CARD "TECH TREES"
Cards have a tech-tree like structure.聽 Many have three different phases and upgrade when being played, so you get different effects early or late in a fight.
Cards can spawn other cards---into yours or the enemy's cards.聽Plus, they can also spawn creatures, good or bad.

COMPLEX CREATURES
Creatures have their own deck of cards, which defines their basic behavior. Respawning creatures come into play, when the creature's health drops to zero.聽
