Henry Gray is haunted by the ghosts of his past. He awakens in 1977 inside Paul Staderbeiger Psychiatric Hospital, about to begin a maddening journey that will push his sanity to the breaking point. Descend through derelict hospital halls and beyond, where reality and nightmare mix into something far worse than either.
A Descent Into Madness
Henry enters a horrifying world of blood and pain, hunted by guards and monsters. The hospital is only the beginning of a journey into nightmarish places that may be real, or creations of Gray's broken mind. Piece together the truth of his tragic past, fight back when cornered with improvised weapons, and break out only to fall into even darker places from Henry's past.
Chilling Uncertainty
Every puzzle solved, clue collected, and enemy left behind brings Henry closer to answers he may not want. Explore a decrepit asylum, cruel laboratories, and other horrific locations while facing enemies outside and demons within. Someone is guiding Henry deeper into insanity. Are they helping, or leading him to harm?
Sophisticated Voice Integration
Fire and Ashes can be played without a microphone, but the full experience uses voice recognition that reacts to your breathing, whispers, screams, and words. Hold your breath to avoid attention, shout to lure monsters away, taunt guards to create openings in brutal melee, and master the Electric Voice pacification tool to subdue dangerous patients and the monsters hunting you.
