AI War: Vengeance of the Machine ramps up the challenge in this indie strategy expansion by supercharging the AI opponent with new tools and behaviors. Players face enhanced variety through the Dual Type AI system, which combines traits like Thief and Speed-Racer, plus AI Planetary Subcommanders and Dire Guardians. New player options include Core Turret Controllers and the Showdown Devices victory condition for direct confrontations. The pack adds 8 AI types, such as honorable Chivalric that spares Advanced Factories or brutal Vicious Exotic with massive Exogalactic Attacks, alongside Wheel and Honeycomb maps, 6 Bonus Ship Types like the Neinzul Railpod, optional Hunter and Shark AI Plots, 5 Core Guard Posts, and 7 Guardian types.
