Bedtime Horror Stories is a game where when you are reading a book, it turns into reality.
The plot of the game develops around a young man called Sam, who is left home alone for the first time. No knowing what to do with himself, he falls asleep out of boredom...Suddenly, his mind is awoken by a call from the attic. A mysterious book offers Sam to play a game, to help him get rid of his boredom. Sam starts reading the book and from that moment on he has crossed the point of no return and must finish reading to the end. The most interesting things start from then.
Throughout the game, you can try to destroy the book but this will not always work. Some of the ways you will try to use to get rid of it can enrage the Master of the Book which leads to inevitable consequences. Don't forget that any mistakes can lead to the breaking of the main rule. Be clever, think of cunning moves that will give you advantage in the game without breaking the rules.
While you are walking around the house, everything around you has a mind of its own. Some creatures prefer to move around in the darkness, others are ready to follow you everywhere, no matter what.
In order for it to be fair, the book gives Sam tools to resist and fight the evil creatures. Once you finish a chapter, the old items are replaced by new ones or disappear completely.
The Master of the Book does not always play fair and it makes the game harder. There is a feeling that you are being watched as the Master of the Book keeps an eye on you along with the creatures. The creatures, including the ones who help you, change their appearances in every chapter.
