Bring them back to life
Dent & Paint is a first-person body shop simulator. Cars roll in rusty, dented, scratched and faded. You take them apart, repair every panel by hand and hand the keys back to a happy customer — one tool and one step at a time.
Real bodywork, step by step
- Foam the car and rinse it with a pressure washer
- Remove doors, bumpers, lights, trims and badges — every bolt, screw and clip
- Spray paint stripper, let it lift and scrape the panel down to bare metal
- Grind off rust, cut out rot, tack and stitch-weld patch panels, grind the welds flat
- Spread body filler and sand it smooth
- Mask with tape and paper, then lay down primer
- Read the car's color, mix the paint by weight and strain it into the gun
- Spray base coat and clear coat, wet-sand and polish to a shine
- Refit every part and park the car outside for its owner
Run the business
- Pick jobs on the shop computer, drive the car in and inspect every panel — customers don't always tell you everything
- Quote your price and deadline, and haggle with customers who have a budget and only so much patience
- Every job ends with a report card, a customer review and before-and-after photos
- Happy customers come back, and fleet contracts bring in several cars in a row
- Order new panels when a part is past saving
- Buy new tools, upgrade the shop and climb the estate's weekly league
- Work your way up from apprentice to foreman
Five cars, plenty of damage
A sedan, a wagon, a pickup, a hatchback and a classic fastback coupe, each with its own panels, trims and hidden problems: dents, scratches, faded paint, blisters, rust and rot, crash damage and full color changes.
Learn as you go
Every step has an illustrated how-to card, a clear goal and a marker on the car, so you always know what comes next — but the craft is in your hands.
