Being a photography-based influencer was the goal, but everyone called it a pipe dream - and they were right. A "failed" career, no job, no money, and a mountain of debt, April ends up moving back to her rainy small town. But even a small town has some doors for opportunity if these two boys can give April her last shot at her dreams. She can use them.

Diffraction, as a visual novel, features user decision and dialogue choices to influence game progression, alongside a variety of other features to enhance the storytelling:
- Re-nameable Heroine:
Play as our main heroine, April, or rename her as you see fit. - Two Romanceable Love Interests: Each boy features his own individual story, interactions with the heroine and relationships with the cast. Approx. 8-10 hrs of gameplay per love interest.
- Linked and Dynamic Relationships: Your choices as the heroine will have an influence on the cast of characters, and their relationships to each other may have an effect on you, so every play-through towards the endings could be slightly different!
- Multiple Endings: Good and Bad ends decided by your own choices throughout the game, with multiple ways to reach each.
- Interactive Text Messaging and Social Media Components: In the full game, parts of the world and story is told through the in-game social media platform, so be sure to explore it!
- CGs and Mini CGs: Experience the special moments of the game with additional visual illustrations of the scenes.
- Full Original Soundtrack: Sit back and let the music cheer you up or calm you down with a variety of tracks and remixed variations.
