About the Developer
Don鈥檛 Click the Flower is my first game as a solo, self-taught developer. I started learning Unreal Engine 5 one year ago, with no prior experience.
The project began as a technical exercise: learning how to handle complex branching narratives, data tables, and delayed consequences. Over time, it evolved into a focused, experimental experience simple in form, but deliberately uncomfortable in intent.
A year later, this small project became something I鈥檓 genuinely proud of. I see it as an unusual first step, and I welcome all feedback especially from developers and curious players.
About AI-Generated Music
This game uses AI-generated music聽and a ''text to speech" narrator.
The experience contains a large number of unique tracks, and as a solo developer, I simply did not have the means to fairly hire musicians for each one.
I fully intend to work with real composers in future projects. For this game, the music serves the experience and once you play it, you鈥檒l understand why quantity and adaptability mattered here.
