Fall in. Dig out.
The ground under your camp gives way and drops you into a mountain far bigger than it should be. There is no map and no road, only the rock in front of you and whatever you can do to it with a shovel. Dig your own path, haul strange finds back for coins, and find a way out, alone or with up to three friends.Every wall can be a door
- Dig anywhere through dirt, rock and ore. Every tunnel, staircase and shortcut is one you carved.
- Break into hidden rooms every few minutes: shops, a wandering merchant's camp, fishing ponds, dice dens, monster nests and whole villages tucked into caverns.
- Water and magma flow through whatever you open up. Breach the wrong wall and the tunnel floods. Let one meet the other and you get fresh rock.
Seven zones, seven sets of rules
Start in plain dirt and stone, then push on into an underground forest, a sunlit coast, sandstone wilds full of sinking sand, ice caverns with slick frozen streams, volcanic depths with lakes of magma, and the Void, where black holes swallow you and spit you out somewhere else. Each deeper zone has a guardian. Find its traces, follow them to its lair and bring it down.Fight what finds you
- Monsters hunt in packs. They surround you, cut off your escape and dig through walls to reach you.
- Fight with shovels, pickaxes, knives and a two-handed sword, or buy guns at a weapon shop.
- Guardians and mid-bosses take a real fight, and a crew that keeps moving.
Dig rich, gear up
- Everything you dig up and find turns into coins. Spend them on better tools, weapons, body upgrades and risky enhancements.
- Carry heavy relics in both arms, rebuild a buried truck and drill through the mountain, or land a fighting fish from an underground lake.
- Pick up jobs from Veyr, the crew's guide, and from Mukkur, a corgi who digs up tasks just for you.
Better with friends (mostly)
- Online co-op for 1–4 players through Steam. Friends can join an expedition that is already underway.
- Proximity voice chat: you will hear your friend scream before you see why.
- Drag downed teammates to safety and revive them, or go back for everything they dropped.
Find a way home
Offer the guardians' heads at the altar in the Void and its door will open. Whether that is the only way out, the mountain isn't saying.Playable in English, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Japanese, French and Korean.
