Return to a small rural town you once called home:
It鈥檚 2007. You鈥檙e Rico, a laid-off artist struggling to find new opportunities in the city, and you decide to return to your hometown to work at the only place offering you a job: the local Lost and Found office.聽
A lot has changed since the last time you were in your hometown, Luisiana. Many friends moved abroad to seek better opportunities, businesses are closing, and the hangout spots you used to love are now run down. Explore what鈥檚 left of your hometown and reconnect with the folks you left behind.
Explore, find an owner of a lost belonging, return item, repeat:
A simple job on the surface, but not everyone would tell you the truth. Some would claim items that are not theirs. Gather and find whatever you can to find out who鈥檚 lying and who鈥檚 telling the truth.聽BUT be careful, not all that's lost is meant to be found.
Everyone has a story to tell:
That鈥檚 one of the game鈥檚 guiding philosophies, and it鈥檚 why the art direction uses mixed media (2D, 3D, pixel art, claymation-like, and more). Each character is purposely designed to look and feel unique, like each of them has a story to tell.聽 Also, listen closely; every townsfolk you鈥檒l meet carries memories, gossip, secrets, surprises and even lies. Information you might find valuable down the line.聽
Every item you return matters:
From a decade-old wallet to an old notebook that holds a legendary bread recipe, each item contains a piece of someone鈥檚 life. Returning them to the right hands may uncover stories and change a life for the better, but giving them to the wrong individual may lead to unexpected consequences that affect the story of the game.
