Maglev Driver puts you in the cab of Japan鈥檚 superconducting maglev trains!
Recreate the unmanned MT-505鈥檚 517 km/h run on the 7 km Miyazaki track, push the crewed SLX02 to 581 km/h, and take the Z0 Series past 603 km/h on the full 42.8 km Yamanashi line.
Drive scheduled services in either direction through sunrise, sunset and night, fog, rain and snow with realistic announcements. Cab signalling steps your permitted speed down behind the train ahead and into each station.
Magnet quenches, propulsion failures and guideway obstructions can strike at speed, with scoring based on reaction time.
Every run is recorded, and an automatic director provides instant replays.
Head out trackside as a railfan and try to photograph the train as it bursts from the tunnel.
