Mandew vs the Forever Rain+ is a retelling of Mandew's original game and the first game release under the Suits & Sandals name, originally released on January 2, 2011.
Save your Farm!
Play as Mandew, a regular guy with a very irregular problem! An ever-present storm has been pelting his home for weeks and it's about time someone investigated. Mandew will face off against weird and wacky enemies as he follows the 'Forever Rain' to it's source.
Mandew will traverse 16 linear platforming stages, defeating enemies and collecting power-ups. Complete the game in STORY MODE and have your hi-score recorded on the Steam Leaderboards or aim for the top times in TRIAL MODE.
Unique Mechanics (We Swear!)
At first glance, platformer veterans will feel right at home in this game's world but Mandew has a few unique abilities up his sleeve:
- Jump from a crouching position to perform a spring jump, allowing you to reach high ledges.
- Jumping on enemies will increase your air speed! Chain jumps to really move!
- Use Mandew's fire power-up to defeat enemies from afar and ignite things.
- Use Mandew's hammer power-up to reflect projectiles and destroy blocks.
What's the Difference?
Mandew vs the Forever Rain+ features a mix of the game's original stages as well as remixed and new stages built from the ground up. A new OST by composer Jaxcheese and new collectable figurine capsules hidden throughout the game. The game has been updated to use graphics and mechanics from the third game in the series, Mandew vs the Upside Down Machine.
