Every tower you place is a wall. Every wall you build is a longer walk to death. In Maze Builder you don't defend a path — you draw it, one tower at a time, forcing waves of enemies through a spiral of your own design while they burn, freeze, and shatter along the way.
One misplaced tower and the whole corridor collapses. One perfect corridor and you'll watch a wave of 60 enemies walk two full laps before a single one reaches your lives.
Inspired by the legendary Warcraft 3 Wintermaul maps, Maze Builder rebuilds that experience as a modern standalone game — ranked competition, a deep risk-reward economy, a permanent Mastery tree, and runs that never actually end.
10 Towers. Weapon and Wall.
Every tower does double duty: it deals damage and it steals ground from the enemy. Fire towers burn over time. Lightning chains between packed groups. Ice slows the front line to a crawl so your damage has time to work. Splash punishes the corners where enemies bunch up, and armor shred opens up the heavies for everyone else.
Match your elements to enemy weaknesses for bonus damage — or watch your shots bounce harmlessly off a resistant wave you didn't prepare for.
Five targeting modes per tower, multiple upgrade tiers, and a conversion system that lets you swap a tower's type without tearing down the wall it's holding.
30 Enemy Types That Read Your Build
From basic grunts to golems, flying demons that ignore your beautiful maze entirely, and demon kings that soak everything you own. Each type carries its own weaknesses, resistances, and flat armor — so raw DPS isn't enough, composition is.
Past the 30 authored waves, the game stops holding back. Health, speed, and armor compound every single round, forever. No run is truly won. The only question is how far.
Greed vs. Survival
Gold wins games — if you live long enough to spend it. The Investment Panel offers 10 tiers of permanent income, from a humble Wheat Field to a Dragon's Hoard. Cheap investments pay back fast and keep you alive. Expensive ones win the late game, if you survive to reach it.
Every wave is the same brutal question: build defense, or buy the future? Invest too hard and the next wave ends you. Play too safe and the scaling curve leaves you behind ten waves later.
Masteries — Progression That Follows You Home
Runs end. Your Masteries don't. Every run earns XP, every level grants a Mastery point, and those points go into three permanent trees that change how you play from wave one:
Onslaught — raw offense. Global damage, fire rate, range, and armor penetration. Capped by keystones like Overwhelming Force for a flat +25% damage on everything you own.
Bulwark — survival. Extra starting lives, lives back for every wave cleared, and Second Wind, which pulls you back from your first fatal leak of the run.
Fortune — the long game. Starting gold, better sell refunds, gold per kill, and Gold Rush for +25% on every wave-completion payout.
37 nodes across the three trees, gated by prerequisites so each build has to commit to a path — and a hard 30-point cap means you can never have it all. Specialize into a glass-cannon Onslaught rush, an unkillable Bulwark wall, or a Fortune economy snowball.
Climb the Ranks
11 ranked tiers from Recruit to Grandmaster. Your top 5 runs make up your ranked score, and higher difficulties unlock access to the higher tiers — Grandmaster isn't reachable by grinding the easy setting. Global leaderboards are separated by difficulty, so you're always measured against people playing your game.
Earn titles, customize your profile, and put your name where every other maze builder has to look at it.
