Let's also not forget how they saved the world from absolute destruction and defeated a divine beast sworn to slay the fox spirit.
Nevertheless, after traversing countless timelines and finally reaching the perfect ending, it was inevitable that the exorcist's body and spirit would weaken as his vital energy was depleted. Kanou Mirai was heartbroken, and resolved to use her yokai powers to help restore his vigor.
