We keep stat affixes simple to understand, and offer a gigantic amount of them, each being important in its own way for build-crafting.

Gemstones can be socketed into weapons to define their attack rules, and behaviour. Burst dozends of poison arrows, incinerate monsters, or spread sickness.

We really care about quality and good flow in games, without needing to push everything towards fast-pacing reward spams, but rather give true meaning to achievements.

There is no upwards level scaling in Obsydian, you are as strong as your gear and build is. Going into lower level areas does adjust your character's base strength, so every piece of content stays relevant for the whole time.聽
