Sightline: Logic Puzzle is an indie casual logic puzzle game for PC that challenges players to clear boards by deducing bomb locations through extended sightlines rather than adjacent counts.
Gameplay
Each tile reveals how many bombs lie along its sightlines in the four cardinal directions, extending across the entire board until interrupted. Players read these numbers to place bombs logically and clear every safe tile without error. The core loop relies entirely on deduction, with every board designed to have a single logical path from start to finish.
Additional mechanics alter how sightlines function. Walls block sight completely. Channels transmit sight along their arrows in both directions while acting as barriers perpendicular to the flow. Purple tiles ignore sightlines and instead count the eight surrounding tiles. Mirrors redirect a sightline ninety degrees to continue around corners. One-way arrows permit sight only in the indicated direction. Portals link in pairs so that a sightline entering one exits from its partner.
These elements combine on boards of varying shapes, including squares, circles, diamonds, hearts, triangles, crosses, and islands. The design introduces mechanics gradually across the main levels, allowing players to master one concept before the next appears.
Game Modes
The 400 main levels build familiarity with each new rule in sequence. The 300 grand levels expand to larger boards optimized for bigger displays, each rendered as a thematic image such as mazes, castles, islands, or constellations.
Daily Puzzle delivers one new board each day that is identical for all players, supporting streak tracking and global ranking. Time Challenge pits players against thirty levels on the clock, with leaderboards recording the fastest completions.
Elimination supports up to sixteen participants on a shared sequence of boards. Everyone solves the same puzzles simultaneously. Clearing a board advances the group to the next, while striking a bomb eliminates that player, though they can continue observing. Victory goes to the first to finish every board or the last player remaining. Quick matches or private rooms created with a five-letter code allow Steam friends to join, and sessions run cross-platform across PC, Mac, Steam Deck, iPhone, iPad, and Android.
Progression and Features
Levels load quickly and conclude with a single satisfying click once the final safe tile is cleared. Every board contains all necessary information for solution, eliminating any need for guesswork. Progress carries across devices through a Sightline account, enabling seamless continuation on different hardware.
The emphasis remains on pure logic applied to increasingly intricate sightline interactions. Boards scale in complexity without introducing randomness, rewarding careful reading of numbers and mechanics.
Is It Worth Playing?
Sightline: Logic Puzzle suits players who enjoy deduction-based puzzles similar to Minesweeper but prefer guaranteed solvability over chance. The variety of sightline modifiers and board shapes keeps the experience fresh across hundreds of levels, while daily and competitive modes add ongoing engagement. Those seeking relaxed single-player sessions or occasional multiplayer elimination matches will find consistent, logic-driven gameplay that rewards observation and step-by-step reasoning.
