Zhong Kui Survivor is a Chinese monster themed survivor-like action roguelite. You play as Zhong Kui, the legendary demon queller, stepping into cursed night patrols where waves of yaoguai close in from every direction. Survive through positioning, automatic weapon attacks, upgrade choices, and careful route decisions.
Each run offers a new build path. Blades, thunder staffs, bombs, resonance rings, Bagua formations, and other ritual weapons can be upgraded into distinct combat styles. You will need to balance crowd clearing, survival, lantern objectives, boss pressure, and resource gain.
Between runs, your loot feeds a broader progression loop. Soul currency, herbs, ores, and monster drops can be used in cave alchemy, self-researched pill recipes, pet feeding, codex upgrades, and permanent character growth. Every defeat leaves something behind for the next patrol.
