A Romanian rail icon arrives from developer Train Motion.
Based on the Electroputere LE5100 from the 1960’s this popular Class 47 CFR locomotive has been rebuilt in authentic detail for Train Simulator Classic to replicate the modernised 060 EA version that was used for passenger, and occasional freight, services in Romania between 2009 - 2010. Take the ‘CFR Calatori’ 060 - EA 476-692-5 onto your favourite routes.
This locomotive features a highly detailed model based on the original blueprints with realistic HD textures for standard and snow running. Custom scripts give an authentic driver experience with full recreation of various train systems; lights, sounds, INDUSI signalling, DSV safety system behaviour, realistic pantograph, dynamic displays, lifelike braking systems and more. This also features authentic sounds recorded from the real locomotive, including train traction, horn, compressors, alarms and more.
You will find the EA-692 in the Quick Drive menu, where it can be placed on a selection of routes providing varied operations for this highly-detailed work horse. Recommended routes to run this locomotive on are; Bahnstrecke Riesa - Dresden, Frankfurt - Koblenz, and Regensburg – Ingolstadt. All available separately on the Steam Store.
