Gameplay

A pangolin serves as the kitchen's daytime helper. Players assign it tasks such as chopping or washing, and it scurries to complete them efficiently. The pangolin requires a pat to stay motivated during busy periods.
Daytime focuses on speed to handle incoming orders efficiently. At night the kitchen remains open with a score bonus for each dish served after dark. The pangolin sleeps and cannot assist, leaving all work to the players. Extended shifts cause sleepiness that forces rest breaks, which carry risk. Wolves enter the kitchen under cover of darkness to steal plated dishes. Players can grab a frying pan to chase and knock out the wolves, recovering the food. Wolves also target the sleeping pangolin as a potential snack. If taken, the pangolin returns the next morning bandaged and rests in its nest without helping for the full day.
