The Place
The hallways of the high-rise feel unsettling. The walls are thin, and it鈥檚 hard not to hear what鈥檚 going on in the neighboring apartment. Although it鈥檚 never truly quiet, it鈥檚 not a place that鈥檚 bursting with life. Loneliness, anonymity, and a lack of prospects define life. The atmosphere is oppressive. It鈥檚 actually hard to imagine that people live here.聽
