Lore
In 2050, a powerful corporation named ShawCorp developed a miracle cure for illness鈥攗ntil things went horribly wrong. Weeks after release, people began turning violent, showing aggressive behavior and attacking the uninfected. The government responded with force. In a final act of desperation, nuclear warheads were deployed by ShawCorp themselves. But the radiation only made the infected stronger and more enraged.
