The AV-8B Night Attack is a VTOL multirole strike aircraft designed for close air support and deep strike operations.
It鈥檚 equipped with an inbuilt 25 mm GAU-12/U cannon with powerful incendiary and armor-piercing rounds, along with four AIM-9L air-to-air missiles and a large number of chaff and flares. Where it truly excels is ground ordnance; it can carry up to ten JDAM guided bombs, GBU-16 and GBU-12 Paveway II guided bombs, along with several types of AGM-65 Maverick missiles, aided by the thermal LITENING II targeting pod. On top of this, you can also equip multiple standard bombs and rockets of various calibers to mix and match the perfect loadout for any operation.
Armed to the teeth, the AV-8B is ready and able to take on any threat in the air or on the ground, thanks to its highly advanced avionics and weaponry.
